‘Deli Boys’ Season 2 Trailer Promises More Mayhem!! Check It Out!!

Crime and cold cuts collided in the Hulu comedy series Deli Boys last year. Now, it’s coming back for a second helping. Raj, Mir, and Lucky are up to their old tricks (and some new ones) in the new trailer for the show’s second season, which premieres on Hulu later this month.

As the new trailer opens, brothers Mir and Raj Dar (Asif Ali and Saagar Shaikh) are still bumbling their way through running their father’s criminal empire, with the help of Lucky (Poorna Jagannathan). Needing some help laundering their ill-gotten gains, they turn to an eccentric casino boss (Fred Armisen), who’s interested in helping them…and interested in Lucky, too. They’ve got a new obstacle in their way in the form of clean-cut anti-crime politician Andrew Chadwater (Andrew Rannells), and things really go sideways when goofball Raj is arrested for killing their father’s murderer (Brian George)…a crime that, despite Lucky’s encouragement, he did not commit. It’s up to a hotshot lawyer (Kumail Nanjiani) who has a past with Lucky to keep him out of jail. Will the Deli Boys’ schemes be the end of them? You’ll find out on May 28, when all six episodes of Deli Boys drop on Hulu.

What Is ‘Deli Boys’ About?

Pakistani-Americans Mir and Raj are the sons of Arshad “Baba” Dar (Iqbal Theba), the millionaire owner of a chain of delis. When he suddenly dies, hardworking Mir and party boy Raj discover that their father didn’t attain his success from selling potato salad. His delis were a front for an international criminal organization; soon, the FBI swoops in and takes everything. Needing to earn a living, Raj and Mir join forces with their father’s business associate, Lucky, and try to work their way back up to the top. It soon becomes apparent that they’re in over their heads, as they clash with the underworld and law enforcement. What’s more, their father’s death (via an errant golf ball) may not have been an accident…

Deli Boys was created by Abdullah Saeed and developed by Jenni Konner (Girls) and Nora Silver (Nobody Wants This) via Jenni Konner Productions. Michelle Nader (Shifting Gears) serves as showrunner, and also executive produces alongside Saeed, Konner, and Silver.

All six episodes of Deli Boys season 2 drop on Hulu on May 28.
