It’s been just over a month since the Paradise Season 2 finale, but Dan Fogelman already has things moving fast on Paradise Season 3. Hulu was quick to deliver the news that Paradise has been renewed for a third and final season — it was announced not even halfway through Season 2 that the show would come back with more episodes. This was basically confirmed even before the official announcement, though, as leading star Sterling K. Brown had publicly revealed key details regarding the filming timeline for Season 3 before Hulu’s announcement. Fans likely won’t have to wait long to watch the final season of Paradise, either, considering production on Season 3 began in the days after the Season 2 finale.
Plot details about Paradise Season 3 are being kept close to the best for now, but the Season 2 finale leaves some idea of where the show is heading. Now that the famous Paradise bunker has been destroyed and Sinatra (played by Julianne Nicholson) is dead, the focus of the series is shifting from the bunker to saving the world, a job that falls to former Secret Service agent Xavier Collins (played by Sterling K. Brown). A few weeks ago, Paradise Season 3 added its first new cast member in Julianna Marguiles, the Emmy winner famed for her work in The Good Wife and E.R. Now, Fogelman is further expanding his ensemble with two iconic actors, Elijah Wood and Melissa Benoist. The former is known for his time as Frodo Baggins in Peter Jackson’s legendary Lord of the Rings movies, and the latter played Supergirl in the CW series that ran from 2015 to 2021.
When Does ‘Paradise’ Season 3 Come Out?
Hulu has yet to set a release date or window for Paradise Season 3, but it’s a safe bet that the show is going to return in 2027. It can also be assumed that Paradise Season 3 will follow in the footsteps of its predecessors and be released early in the year, like Seasons 1 and 2. Paradise creator Dan Fogelman has confirmed that he had a three-season idea for Paradise, and that despite Disney’s request for more episodes, he plans to stick to his idea and complete the show with its third season.
