
Cannes, France (May 11, 2026) – Set to launch sales at the Cannes Marché du Film, Highland Film Group is handling international rights, with Gersh handling domestic, to the romantic comedy Grace Period starring Ashley Greene (the Twilight saga, Jay Roach’s Bombshell), Seth Green (Fox’s “Family Guy,” Austin Powers franchise, The Italian Job), Matt Walsh (HBO’s “Veep”), Beverly D’Angelo (Violent Night, National Lampoon’s Vacation) and Rhys Darby (Jumanji franchise, HBO’s “Our Flag Means Death”).
Rounding out the ensemble cast is Natasha Leggero (Netflix’s Old Dads), Lily Anne Harrison (Hallmark’s Christmas Camp) and Matthew Friend (Fox’s “Family Guy”). The film is directed by Peter Facinelli (On Fire, The Vanished) and written by Lily Anne Harrison, who previously collaborated with Facinelli on Breaking & Exiting.

Grace Period reunites Ashley Greene with Peter Facinelli after acting with each other in the Twilight saga, and marks a nostalgic reunion with Facinelli and Seth Green from fan favorite Can’t Hardly Wait. Highland Film Group and Gersh will be screening the completed film for buyers in Cannes.
Willa (Greene) has mastered the art of living commitment-free, until she discovers that her biological clock is running out faster than expected. Just as she dives headfirst into the chaotic world of egg freezing, she meets Greg (Green), a charming and grounded chef who’s everything she didn’t know she wanted. Caught between the life she carefully built and the one she never saw coming, Willa must decide if she’s willing to risk everything for a chance at something real.
