2026 has been a successful year already for Prime Video, with multiple new releases and more on the way before the curtain’s close. Prime Video officially brought back its critically acclaimed superhero series, The Boys, for one final season, which just went off the air less than a month ago after a polarizing final season. The Boys ended not long after the fourth season of Invincible went off the air, but unlike The Boys, Invincible is returning for another season in 2027. Prime Video is even bringing back its flagship property later this year, Reacher, for another batch of episodes, but it doesn’t stop there. The streamer is so confident that the Alan Ritchson-led action series is going to be a massive success that it’s already been renewed for Season 5.
Leading the charge at the end of 2025 was the long-awaited second season of Fallout. Prime Video’s hit sci-fi series features Walton Goggins (The White Lotus) and Ella Purnell (Sweetpea) at the forefront, and with their star power combined with the writing of Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner, Fallout has racked up over 100 million views across both seasons. Prime Video renewed Fallout for Season 3 months before the Season 2 premiere, and as production is set to begin next month, the hit sci-fi series is officially continuing to build out its ensemble. News broke this afternoon that Manny Jacinto, who recently played The Stranger/Qimir in The Acolyte, is the latest to join the cast of Fallout, along with Emily Mortimer and Thomasin McKenzie. Details about their roles are being kept under wraps, but they follow suit behind the great Aaron Paul, who was the first to join the Season 3 ensemble.
