Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is now on the fourth year of its five-year mission. While the end of the voyage is now in sight, there’s still lots more to be explored. We got evidence of that at the Star Trek panel in Hall H at San Diego Comic Con this afternoon, as Strange New Worlds‘ creators unveiled a new teaser trailer for the rest of the season. Collider‘s Samantha Coley was on the scene to report the latest intel.

In attendance for Strange New Worlds were Anson Mount (Captain Christopher Pike), Rebecca Romijn (Una Chin-Riley), Ethan Peck (Spock), Christina Chong (La’An Noonien-Singh), Celia Rose Gooding (Nyota Uhura), Melissa Navia (Erica Ortegas), and Paul Wesley (James Kirk), plus co-showrunners and executive producers Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers and executive producer Alex Kurtzman. The panel was part of a larger celebration of the franchise’s 60th anniversary.

The new trailer showcases the strange new worlds and new civilizations the crew will encounter over the course of the season’s remaining nine episodes.

What’s Happened on Season 4 of ‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ So Far?

The fourth season kicked off with a voyage to a strange old world: a spatial anomaly hurled the USS Enterprise 65 million years into the past, and put them in orbit around prehistoric Earth. There, they find themselves caught between an ancient Martian civilization, represented by Commander Cassell (Saffron Burrows), and a race of hostile arachnid aliens living on the Solar System’s rocky fifth planet. Captain Pike and his crew found themselves trapped in an ethical dilemma that could have Earth-shattering implications for the future of humanity.
