Only Murders In The Building Season 6 has added an A-List Oscar winner to its cast. The announcement was made via social media.
A recent update confirmed that Olivia Colman will be joining the cast of Hulu’s mystery show, Only Murders In The Building. The news of her casting was announced by the official Instagram account of the show, which has featured stars like Meryl Streep, Selena Gomez, and Martin Short. Gomez initially hyped up the announcement, saying, “We have had so many amazing guest stars for Only Murders in the Building.” Streep followed it up by saying, “We’re just missing one.”
The addition of Colman only adds to an already-stacked cast. Back in 2019, the Hollywood actor won the Academy Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for the movie The Favourite. Apart from this, she also has a couple more Academy Award nominations under her belt.

Apart from Colman, the sixth instalment of Only Murders in the Building has added Peter Capaldi, Jodie Whittaker, David Tennant, and Jim Broadbent. Additionally, the season will also feature an impressive lineup of guest stars, namely Lesley Nicol, Anjana Vasan, Derek Jacobi, Jamie Demetriou, Jane Horrocks, Matthew Beard, Geri Halliwell-Horner, Martin Freeman, Sharon Horgan, Nicola Coughlan, Richard Ayoade, Adrian Lukis, Kathryn Hunter, Jennifer Saunders, Sean Teale, Simone Ashley, Amar Chadha-Patel, and Rhea Norwood.
Towards the end of season 5 of the show, a shocking detail was revealed. The podcast host, Cinda Canning, played by Tina Fey, was found murdered. Thus, it’s a no-brainer that the latest season will heavily focus on solving the mystery and finding out who killed Canning. An official release date for Only Murders in the Building has not yet been announced.
