The Good Daughter follows two sisters confronting a violent past and buried family secrets
Charlotte and Samantha Quinn have spent the last 20 years trying to rebuild their lives. A single night of violence fractured their family and left both sisters dealing with its consequences. Charlotte is now a lawyer, following in her father’s footsteps. She becomes the first witness when another attack takes place in the small town of Pikeville.
The new case soon brings painful memories back to the surface. As the case unfolds, Charlotte begins uncovering family secrets connected to their past. The series also explores the sisters’ complicated relationship and their connection with their father.
The series stars Byrne as Samantha Quinn and Fahy as Charlotte Quinn. Byrne is known for playing Moira MacTaggert in the X-Men films. Fahy previously played Daphne Sullivan in The White Lotus Season 2.
Slaughter wrote all six episodes and serves as showrunner and executive producer. Steph Green directed every episode. Green also served as an executive producer alongside Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky, Casey Haver, and Byrne.
The series also stars Brendan Gleeson, Olivia Williams, Harper Steele, Michael Dorman, Audrey Grace Marshall, and Drew Cheek. Made Up Stories produces the series in partnership with Fifth Season.
