An elderly gentleman retreats from big city living to the Midwest to enjoy his retirement, but his former colleagues keep getting involved in his part-time work that he does to keep himself busy. This sounds like something of a tragedy, but it’s actually the plot of one of Paramount+‘s biggest hits and one that gave Taylor Sheridan yet another sensation on streaming. Today, the Sylvester Stallone-starring hit has officially set a release date for it’s next chapter with the release of an explosive new trailer.

Paramount+ has officially released the trailer and key art for Tulsa King Season 4, along with the confirmation that Sheridan‘s funniest crime hit will return on Friday, October 16. In Season 4, Dwight (Stallone) fights to legitimize his empire and protect his crew as corrupt politicians, dangerous new enemies, and a crushing personal loss hit from every direction. However, every hard-won gain comes with even harder truths: about loyalty, leadership, and the cost of ambition. Each move drags Dwight deeper into the street instincts he left behind in New York – turning Tulsa into a battleground and Dwight into the one threat no one can afford to underestimate.

The fourth season also arrives just as Tulsa King prepares to spin off into Frisco King, which sees Samuel L. Jackson reprising his role as Russell Lee Washington Jr., following his cameo appearance in the Season 3 finale. Frisco King, which also stars Asa Germann and Lila Pate, will debut in 2027 on Paramount+.

Who’s Involved in ‘Tulsa King’ Season 4?

Stallone (Rocky) returns as Dwight alongside Martin Starr (Silicon Valley), Jay Will (It Doesn’t Matter), Vincent Piazza (Boardwalk Empire), Annabella Sciorra (The Sopranos), Chris Caldovino (The Sopranos), McKenna Quigley Harrington (The Wolf of Wall Street), Frank Grillo (The Purge: Anarchy), and Mike “Cash Flo” Walden. The ensemble also includes James Russo (Django Unchained), Kevin Pollak (The Usual Suspects), Neal McDonough (Justified), Garrett Hedlund (Tron: Legacy), and Dana Delany (Desperate Housewives), while Gretchen Mol (Boardwalk Empire) joins the cast as a new series regular for Season 4.

Terence Winter, whose credits include The Sopranos and Boardwalk Empire, serves as head writer and executive producer. Sheridan, Stallone, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Thomas Kelly, and Keith Cox also executive produce. Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios produce the series.
