Josh Brolin and former Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke have expanded the A-list cast of Jason Momoa‘s new TV show. The upcoming project is a docuseries, titled A Roadmap To Happiness.
Brolin and Clarke will be part of A Roadmap to Happiness, alongside other notable names, including Alec Baldwin, Shailene Woodley, and Elijah Wood, reports Deadline. The docuseries was originally announced earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival.
Josh Brolin was recently seen in Ridley Scott’s The Dog Stars while Clarke was seen in the acclaimed Peacock TV show Ponies. Baldwin was most recently featured in the Rust movie by Joel Souza. As for Woodley, she recently received an Emmy Award for her guest role in Paradise. Wood will soon appear in next year’s film The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum, reprising the role of Frodo Baggins.
What is A Roadmap To Happiness with Josh Brolin about?
The docuseries will mainly focus on all the A-list celebrities trying to find the happiest people on Earth. It will be led by author, podcaster and presenter Darin Olien. The key objective of the TV show is to figure out what it means being happy and content in different cultures.
The series finale will see Josh Brolin appearing in Finland while Emilia Clarke will join Olien in Portugal. Both the countries are known to have some of the happiest people in the world. Expressing his excitement and pride on being part of the show, Brolin said, “We spend so much of life chasing success, answers, or the next thing but happiness is often quieter than that.”
The show has Cary Floyd as the director, who’s also serving as the producer. Darin Olien, Heather White Rezner, and DP Nick Higgins will also produce.
A Roadmap To Happiness is expected to release in a limited capacity, on demand, on March 23, 2027. It also happens to be the World Happiness Day. An official platform or broadcaster has yet to be announced.
