What do we see in the Stick Season 2 trailer?
The trailer shows Pryce receiving a surprising offer from his former rival, Clark. Encouraged by Clark, Pryce decides to make another attempt at professional golf. Pryce then sets himself an even bigger challenge of becoming the oldest golfer ever to win the U.S. Open.
Pryce sets out to prove he can still compete at the highest level. He even turns up at Clark’s home to discuss the opportunity, where he finds his former rival wearing under-eye masks before Clark agrees to his proposal. The exchange highlights the season’s comedic tone.
Pryce then starts preparing for the challenge with Mitts by his side. However, returning to his former level requires more than confidence. The pair turn to Amanda, whom Clark calls “the swing doctor,” for help. Amanda initially laughs when they approach her, seemingly unconvinced by their plan.
She eventually agrees to help Pryce. As she pushes him during training, she tells him, “We have to play to our strengths. However few they are.” Her training makes Pryce’s comeback even more challenging.
The trailer also highlights Santi’s pursuit of professional golf and the pressure that comes with growing expectations. His journey runs parallel to Pryce’s comeback, keeping their relationship at the heart of the season.
Rhea Seehorn joins the cast as coach Amanda, while Marc Maron returns as Pryce’s caddie Mitts. Peter Dager also reprises his role as Santi, the 17-year-old golf phenom whose pursuit of a professional career continues in Season 2. Timothy Olyphant is back as Pryce’s former rival Clark Ross.
Created by Jason Keller, Stick premiered on Apple TV in 2025. Season 2 will premiere with two episodes on November 4, 2026, followed by one episode weekly through December 30.
