‘Palm Royale’ Season 2: Kristen Wiig’s Divisive Apple TV+ Series Gets First Images!! Check It Out!!

Get ready to return to the drama surrounding the high society of Palm Beach folks, as Apple TV+ has set a return date for its enchanting period comedy Palm Royale. Created by Abe Sylvia, as an adaptation of Juliet McDaniel’s 2018 novel Mr. & Mrs. American Pie, the series premiered on the streamer on March 20, 2024, with the first three episodes. Later on May 8, it concluded with the tenth installment, making it over a year since fans last saw their favorite characters on small screens. That’s about to change as Palm Royale returns this fall with a ten-episode sophomore season.

As announced by Apple TV+ on X (formerly called Twitter), Palm Royale Season 2 premieres on Wednesday, November 12, and will air one episode weekly until the January 14, 2026, finale. Alongside the huge update are several first-look images of the ensemble cast led by Kristen Wiig. Others featured are Laura Dern, Allison Janney, Ricky Martin, Carol Burnett, Josh Lucas, Leslie Bibb, Amber Chardae Robinson, Mindy Cohn, Julia Duffy, and Kaia Gerber. Check the photos out below!

In the upcoming season of Palm Royale, which kicks off immediately after the scandalous Season 1 finale, Maxine (Wiig) is left a social outcast after that public breakdown. As teased by the synopsis, she will now “have to draw on her deep well of cleverness and cunning to prove, once and for all, that not only does she belong, but she just might have what it takes to rule this town. Along the way, she will uncover untold truths and finally understand what this town is truly built on — secrets, lies, and the occasional felony.

What’s Ahead in ‘Palm Royale’ Season 2

Following a successful debut season, it was no surprise that the dramedy got quickly renewed in June 2024, just a few weeks after the Season 1 finale. Not to mention, series creator Sylvia had some interesting plans for a second season of Palm Royale, which he teased a bit about in an interview with Collider’s Christina Radish. The EP hinted that the new chapter, which is expected to be more aesthetically pleasing, will explore more parts of Palm Beach and provide much-needed answers for viewers, while adding:

“You should be ready to expect the unexpected with the story, and also a leveling up, even from here. Season 1 is our baseline, from a design standpoint… I think we’ve come up with new ways to stimulate the creative juices of our amazing and brilliant partners.

Palm Royale Season 2 arrives in November.
