‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2: New Image Teases Matt Murdock’s New Comic-Accurate Costume!! Check It Out!!

Marvel is preparing to wrap up its year in 2025 after most recently releasing Marvel Zombies, but now the studio is looking forward with some exciting looks at projects coming in 2026. Entertainment Weekly previewed new images from several upcoming Marvel projects, including Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, which is expected to be released next year, around March or April. The new image shows Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) sporting his most comic-accurate costume yet, a full black Daredevil suit. Better yet, it also includes the two D’s on his chest, a look that classic Daredevil fans are quite familiar with.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 was a massive success for Marvel earlier this year, which didn’t come as a surprise to those who watched the original series on Netflix. Charlie Cox’s casting as Daredevil, along with other stars like Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk and Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, is among Marvel’s finest casting decisions ever. Daredevil: Born Again was also announced as a two-season project at first, which made Season 1’s cliffhanger ending easier to swallow, knowing that a resolution is coming eventually. Now, it’s right around the corner, and Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 marketing is finally starting to pick up.

Marvel is confident that Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is going to perform just as well, if not better than Season 1, too. Just a few weeks ago, Marvel Studios Head of TV and Streaming Brad Winderbaum confirmed that Daredevil: Born Again has been renewed for a third season, which plans to begin shooting early next year. Marvel is also balancing the releases of other bigger projects like Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Avengers: Doomsday, so it’s good to know that the story on the ground in New York will continue through the chaos.

Is Daredevil Going To Be in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’?

Charlie Cox’s Daredevil has not yet been confirmed to have a role in Avengers: Doomsday, and right now it’s entirely up to speculation about whether he’ll star in the film or not. Marvel may want to keep heroes like Daredevil and Punisher more grounded, instead of involving them in a fight for the future of the multiverse. However, their skills could certainly prove useful in a fight, so one team of Avengers could decide to recruit them. Charlie Cox can also be seen as Daredevil in Spider-Man: No Way Home, She-Hulk, Echo, and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
