Katherine LaNasa added to Lindsay Lohan’s Count My Lies series cast
According to Deadline, Katherine LaNasa has joined the cast of Count My Lies, the Hulu limited series starring Lindsay Lohan. She will appear across multiple episodes as Tracy, the mother of Sloane, a key character played by Shailene Woodley.
The series follows Sloane Caraway, a compulsive liar who secures a nanny position with a wealthy couple, Violet and Jay Lockhart, portrayed by Lohan and Kit Harington. The position initially appears to to be a stable opportunity.
However, it gradually becomes more complicated, as the household holds hidden tensions and closely guarded secrets. As Sloane becomes further involved in their lives, the situation begins to spiral. This places all three characters in increasingly difficult positions.
The project is based on the debut novel by Sophie Stava and is being adapted by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, who also serve as co-showrunners and executive producers. The series is produced by 20th Television under Disney Television Studios. Lohan, Woodley, and Scott Morgan are also attached as executive producers, while Stava serves as a producer.
LaNasa currently appears in The Pitt as charge nurse Dana Evans. The role earned her an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Production on the show’s second season has recently concluded. Her involvement in Count My Lies is not expected to impact her role on The Pitt, given the limited series format of the Hulu project.
Her recent television work also includes Truth Be Told, Imposters, and Katy Keene.
