Rebecca Ferguson is quietly having one of the biggest years of 2026 so far after starring in a few projects, and it’s only set to continue later into the year. Ferguson starred in one of the first sci-fi movies of the year with Mercy (co-starring Chris Pratt), and after bombing at the box office due to its $60 million budget, it has since found redemption streaming on Prime Video as one of the most popular movies of the year. Ferguson swiftly found redemption with The Magic Faraway Tree, her fantasy movie that debuted at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. After premiering overseas in select theaters, the film is coming to theaters in America later this year. Ferguson will return to her role as Lady Jessica this December in Dune: Part Three, but she has another big sci-fi project set to be released before then.
Ferguson will finally return as Juliette Nichols in the third season of Silo, the Apple TV sci-fi series that aired its first two seasons in 2023 and 2024. Apple TV has already confirmed a July 3 premiere date for Silo Season 3, and because Seasons 3 and 4 were shot back-to-back, the wait for Season 4 will likely be much shorter than the wait for Season 3. Yesterday afternoon, Apple TV released a new sneak peek at Silo Season 3, finally showing what fans have been waiting for: Juliette taking over as Mayor. The first two seasons of Silo have drawn widespread acclaim from critics, who have rated it a 90% on the aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes. The show has also consistently been in the Apple TV top 10 over the last few years since its premiere, no matter how many days have passed since the last episode was released.
Is ‘Silo’ Season 4 the Final Season?
Apple TV has confirmed that Silo Season 4 will be the final season of the show, and while it’s unclear at this time when it will be released, it would be surprising if it was held beyond 2027, especially considering filming wrapped last year. Ferguson has a busy schedule, so it has certainly worked in her favor that she doesn’t have to film any more episodes of Silo before the show goes off the air. Apple TV also has shows like Cape Fear launching this summer, so it’s safe to say subscribers are in for a treat with new content.
