‘Stick’ Season 2: First Images Confirms the Addition of Rhea Seehorn!! Check It Out!!

2026 has been a strong year for sports comedies, and Apple TV has been at the center of it. While Netflix took to the green with its new golf comedy, The Hawk, starring Will Ferrell, the prestige streamer brought the laughs to the pickleball court with Jake Johnson‘s new movie The Dink and welcomed Ted Lasso back to the pitch for Season 4. Both reviewed well with critics and audiences, but Jason Sudeikis‘ lovable football coach and the other faces of AFC Richmond, in particular, wasted no time soaring back to the top despite the three-year gap between new episodes. 296.6 million views were recorded within the first two days of the season’s launch, setting a record for the largest Apple series premiere ever and boding well for the rest of Ted’s time with the Lady Greyhounds.

Although the Bill Lawrence-co-created megahit is just beginning its new chapter, Apple TV is already looking forward to the future of its other returning sports series, Stick. The comedy starring Owen Wilson premiered last year and brought similar feel-good vibes to the golf course, following an ex-golfer who finds new hope and starts to turn his life around upon meeting and coaching a young prodigy with the skills to go far in the game. Not only did viewers fall in love with the series, but it earned a Season 2 renewal as soon as the finale aired, bringing its key players back for another round. The streamer has now confirmed that Pryce Cahill and his pal, Santi (Peter Dager), will return on November 4.

Accompanying the release date is a new set of images teasing that Pryce and Santi will be taking their games to the next level. The Season 1 finale may have seen Santi lose the ReadySafe Invitational, but his spectacular tournament finish ensured everyone remembered his name. His next big professional step will be a wake-up call, though, as talent becomes the expectation and everyone is built to win. Fortunately, he’ll still have Pryce by his side and, as seen in one shot, his loyal caddie Zero (Lilli Kay). The finale also teased that Pryce would try to make history and rejoin the PGA Tour years after his career came to a premature end, and sure enough, another shot finds him back on the course with a club in hand and a crowd watching on. It’s his old rival Clark Ross (Timothy Olyphant) who ultimately convinces him to give it another go, but the road back to being the golfer he once was will be long and force him to confront why he never lived up to his potential.

Wilson will be joined in Season 2 by some Apple TV royalty in Pluribus star Rhea Seehorn. After leading the first season of Vince Gilligan‘s sci-fi masterclass, she enters Pryce’s life as a new coach named Amanda, who is seen bringing some positive energy in another image. She’ll join Pryce’s reliable old caddie, Mitts (Marc Maron), in supporting him as he tries to prove, primarily to himself, that he’s always been as good as everyone believed. Seehorn headlines the new additions for Season 2, also including John Higgins, Billy Zane, Rex Linn, Sasha Alexander, and Missi Pyle. Mariana Treviño and Judy Greer round out the returning regulars, with broadcasters Jim Nantz and Trevor Immelman reprising their guest appearances alongside “Good Good’s” Matt Scharff and golf enthusiast Dan Rapaport. Series creator Jason Keller will also be back as showrunner.
