
An upcoming psychological cyber-thriller has expanded its cast. Nicolas Cage, Jordi Mollà, and more have joined Simon Afram‘s new film. The upcoming thriller is titled C.L.A.Y.
Spider-Noir‘s Cage, alongside Martin Sheen, Emilio Sakraya, Adrian Topol, and Mollà, has joined the cast. It will also mark the African filmmaker’s directorial debut, reports Deadline. Sheen is best known for his roles in Badlands and Apocalypse Now. Topol was seen in the romance drama Franz + Polina and Snipers Valley.
As for Sakraya, the German actor and singer previously featured in Netflix’s sports film Sixty Minutes and the crime thriller Rhinegold. Mollà is known for Bad Boys II, Criminal, and Riddick.

Nicolas Cage was most recently seen in The Carpenter’s Son. Directed by Lotfy Nathan, the horror movie also featured Noah Jupe, FKA Twigs, Souheila Yacoub, and more. However, it didn’t create much of an impact among critics and fans alike. Currently, it holds a poor 30% Tomatometer score and a 37% Popcornmeter score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Cage also appeared in Longlegs, another horror flick. Released in 2024, it was helmed by Oz Perkins and featured Cage in the titular role, alongside Maika Monroe, Blair Underwood, and Alicia Witt.
Longlegs received largely positive reviews from critics. It currently holds an 85% Tomatometer score. It was a huge box office success as well, making over $125 million worldwide on a small budget of $10 million.
Nicolas Cage will be seen next in a sports biopic, Madden. The 62-year-old will portray real-life football legend John Madden. The movie is directed by Academy Award-nominated filmmaker David O. Russell. The ensemble cast will also feature Kathryn Hahn, Sienna Miller, John Mulaney, and Shane Gillis, among others.
Madden will release on Prime Video on November 18, 2026.
