‘Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power’ Season 3 Trailer Finds Sauron More Powerful Than Ever!! Check It Out!!

It’s been more than two decades since Peter Jackson first brought Middle-earth to life on the big screen, but J.R.R. Tolkien‘s fantasy world continues to find new ways to make life absolutely miserable for its inhabitants. Between enormous battles, political betrayals, and one particularly ambitious Dark Lord, the Second Age has proven to be every bit as dangerous as the adventures of Frodo Baggins and his companions. Now, after two seasons of building toward one of the most important moments in Middle-earth’s history, Prime Video is finally ready to unleash Sauron’s greatest weapon.

Finally, Prime Video has officially confirmed that the third season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will debut on November 11, following a two-year absence from our screens, and at the same time, Amazon announced that the series has now attracted more than 185 million viewers worldwide, which is enough to make it both one of their most successful original productions alongside Reacher.

In Season 3, Middle-earth is at war. Five years have passed since the fall of Eregion. Sauron’s armies have marched across the whole of the world, conquering all in their path. Only a few isolated pockets stand between the Dark Lord and total victory – Khazad-dûm, where the Dwarves are now sealed deep within their mountain halls, and the elven realms of Lindon and Rivendell, which are protected by their Three Rings. But deep in the land of Mordor, in his newly completed tower of Barad-dûr, the Dark Lord toils day and night, obsessed with harnessing a power that will bring the last of his enemies to their knees. It’s the One Ring. You might have heard of it.

The series is overseen by showrunners J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay, with Charlotte Brändström returning as an executive producer and director. The fantasy drama is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and continues exploring the events that shaped Middle-earth thousands of years before The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.

‘The Rings of Power’ Is One of Prime Video’s Biggest Shows

The first two seasons have already established The Rings of Power as one of Amazon‘s most successful television properties. According to the streamer, Season 1 remains the biggest television series premiere in Prime Video history, while Season 2 ranks among its five most-watched returning seasons when measured across their respective first 91 days. The second season also debuted at No. 1 on Nielsen’s streaming originals chart and remained among the four most-watched original series throughout its run. Both seasons are Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics praising the show’s enormous scale, production design and ambitious approach to Tolkien’s mythology.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 3 premieres November 11, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video. Seasons 1 and 2 are available to stream now.
