It’s still relatively early in 2026, but Netflix has already released several of the most intensely bingeable shows of the year. One of the first that comes to mind is His & Hers, the gripping psychological thriller starring Jon Bernthal and Tessa Thompson that spent weeks at #1 before finally losing its streaming crown. Netflix also wrapped up the fourth season of Bridgerton not long ago, and fans around the world continue to flock to the show, especially knowing that more episodes are on the way. Even for subscribers who may not have been the biggest fan of His & Hers or Bridgerton, the good news is that you usually don’t have to wait too long to find a new Netflix hit worth binging that suits your interests. In fact, there’s another series set to return in just a few weeks that could yet be the most bingeworthy of the year.
Back in 2023, Netflix released the first award-winning season of Beef, the comedy/psychological thriller following two people who let a road rage incident burrow into their minds and consume every thought and action. The first season of the series starred Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, as well as Young Mazin, who went on to play Jesse in the second season of The Last of Us. Almost exactly three years removed from the show’s debut season, Beef is finally set to return soon with Season 2, which will be released in its entirety on April 16. To celebrate its imminent arrival, Netflix has premiered the official trailer for Beef Season 2, which will feature an entirely new cast and story, positioning it as Netflix’s next big anthology series.
Who Stars in ‘Beef’ Season 2 on Netflix?
Beef Season 2 has tapped Oscar Isaac, Cailee Spaeny, Charles Melton, and Carey Mulligan as its core leading stars. The sophomore season will follow a young couple who witness an alarming fight between their boss and his wife, which triggers a chess move of favors in the elitist world of a country club and its Korean billionaire owner. Jake Schreier, who previously directed the 2025 Marvel smash hit, Thunderbolts*, is directing episodes of Beef Season 2 for Netflix. Lee Sung Jin, writer of the first season, is back to pen the second season of Beef.
Check out the official trailer for Beef Season 2, and catch up on Season 1 on Netflix before Season 2 premieres on April 16.
