Finally, we’re going back underground. Silo, perhaps Apple‘s biggest breakout sci-fi hit yet, is just one month away from returning to our screens, and it’s remarkable how the show hasn’t needed giant spaceships, alien invasions, laser or monsters to captivate viewers. It built the world downwards instead of upwards, bringing us into a beautifully crafted world where every level of the below-the-surface nightmare brings new threats, new dangers and proof that paranoia might actually be justified for once. And mercifully, Apple TV has released the official trailer for Silo Season 3, which premieres around the world on July 3. The 10-episode season will debut with one episode, followed by new episodes every Friday through September 4, 2026.
Based on Hugh Howey’s New York Times bestselling trilogy, Silo follows a dystopian society of 10,000 people living deep underground under circumstances best described as ‘sus’. Season 3 will continue the present-day story while also revealing an origin story set centuries earlier, giving viewers a clearer look at the events that led to humanity’s life inside the silo.
In the present, Juliette Nichols survives her forced “cleaning,” but she returns with memory loss as the silo tries to recover from rebellion and faces a dangerous new threat. Meanwhile, in the “Before Times,” journalist Helen Drew and Congressman Daniel Keene uncover a conspiracy that pulls them into a chain of events with catastrophic and irreversible consequences. So, yes, things are going wonderfully, as usual in this dystopian hellscape.
Who Is Involved in Making ‘Silo’?
The cast of Silo includes Rebecca Ferguson (Dune) as Juliette Nichols, Common (John Wick: Chapter 2) as Robert Sims, Harriet Walter (Succession) as Martha Walker, Chinaza Uche (Dickinson) as Paul Billings, Avi Nash (The Walking Dead) as Lukas Kyle, Alexandria Riley (The End of the F*ing World) as Camille Sims, Ashley Zukerman (Succession) as Congressman Daniel Keene and Jessica Henwick (The Matrix Resurrections) as journalist Helen Drew.
