Dexter: Resurection is back with Season 2 and has Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) back in the action with even more serial killers to take on. The first season put Dexter in New York City where he was helping Harrison (Jack Alcott) as he embarks on his own Dark Passenger journey. The problem? Dexter runs into a collection of serial killers in the city who are all fascinated by him. Not knowing Dexter’s very specific requirements when it comes to killing, it lead to a season of twists and turns with both Dexter and Harrison trying to understand their father/son bond. And their need to kill. Now, we have new first look images of season 2, which includes Uma Thurman! All leading up to Resurrection‘s premiere!

After Prater’s (Peter Dinklage) serial killer club from the first season, there are still more killers for Dexter to take on and this time, he’s at a cross roads. This season also includes James Remar as Harry Morgan as well as Krysten Ritter‘s Mia Lapierre, aka Lady Vengeance, returning. But Season 2 finds Dexter “caught between two killers – one notorious and the other terrorizing New York in ways no one ever anticipated – all while battling his greatest enemy yet: a mid-life crisis. Harrison continues his own pursuit of justice as father and son face their darkest chapter.”

The new images for Season 2 show feature Harry clearly up to something, Dexter in his element with a body bag and seemingly on a date with Thurman‘s character and even Harry looming over Dexter (as he loves to do). The images also include a look at Bookem Woodbine‘s character, who joins the show alongside Dan Stevens, Nona Parker Johnson, and Succession star Brian Cox. We haven’t seen much of this season’s new characters but the new images do give us insight into what the future holds for Harrison and his father.

Dexter Is Back in Action

Dexter Morgan has lived a lot of lives. The original show started with Dexter in Miami, hiding his serial killer tendencies away by going after fellow serial killers. It led to John Lithgow‘s Trinity Killer and more. Then, Dexter: New Blood had fans divided on the fate of Dexter before finally Resurrection came back to right the “wrong” of the first spin-off. As Resurrection continues to grow the world, fans now can experience what New York holds for Dexter in Season 2. The series is set to release later but fans can experience new episodes of Dexter’s Kill Room on the Dexter Official YouTube Channel. Season 3 of Dexter’s Kill Room premieres August 6 at 9 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. ET.
