Synopsis – With the emergence of the world’s first mutant, Apocalypse, the X-Men must unite to defeat his extinction level plan. My Take – This ninth installment is another fine chapter in a franchise that director Bryan Singer brilliantly setup in 2000, and returned with the excellent Days of Future Past in 2014. Yes, it may be a CGI heavy action-adventure but it’s bold, effortlessly mixing action, … Continue reading X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) Review!!

Bryan Singer’s initial and highly influential adaptations of Marvel’s X-Men were contemporary stories set in the early 2000s. I have no expectations when it comes to X-Men: Apocalypse. Even when this series is really good, I can’t get much enthusiasm for it. Perhaps it’s because of the series’ wonky continuity. A couple days ago, we got a poster focused on the film’s … Continue reading The Heroes Get A Turn To Shine In New X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Poster!!

While he’s said it before, Hugh Jackman seems incredibly adamant that the upcoming Wolverine movie will be his last go-around with the character. Jackman was the undeniable breakout of Bryan Singer’s 2000 comic-book film X-Men, which itself paved the way for the modern superhero genre, and he’s been in every X-Men film since—and there have been a lot of X-Men movies. The jury’s still out … Continue reading Hugh Jackman teases final ‘Wolverine’ film on Twitter!!
An X-Men and Fantastic Four crossover seems like a matter of “When”, not “If”.
